Our approach

Clear thinking.
Visible sources.

The standard we use to make our content useful and checkable.

Start with the reader’s question

We organize guides around a specific decision. We explain the mechanics, identify potential costs and point out terms the reader should check.

Use primary sources

Product details should come from issuer disclosures. Educational explanations use sources such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Source links appear in the content so readers can inspect the underlying material.

No invented scores

This launch does not assign star ratings, claim hands-on testing or promise approval. Product explainers describe documented features and limitations. A scored review requires a published scoring rubric and verified product data.

Calculations you can inspect

Our calculators state the assumptions behind their estimates. The inputs and results stay in your browser. They are simplified models rather than issuer statements.

Corrections and updates

Issuer terms can change. Always confirm current pricing before applying. This initial edition is dated October 15, 2026; a recurring update process and named editorial review are still to be established.
